Today we celebrated Anders fourth birthday. All of us made our way out to the house that Tim and the YWAM crew built outside the city. It was a nice day for fresh air and wonderful fellowship. We played some foosball and I had quite the day winning most of my matches. The kids had fun planning the dirt and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows over an open fire.

Abby is starting to love hats. She loves putting them on and wearing them around the house. Both the kids were playing with hats today. I caught a few pictures with them sitting together on the couch.

St. Petersburg Bridges

One thing that St. Petersburg is famous for is its bridges. There are around 400 bridges in the city. It’s one of the reasons St. Petersburg is called the Venice of the North since there are so many waterways in town. One of the favorite past times of tourist is to come out at night and watch the bridges go up. This is to let barge traffic through at night.

Ramona and I decided to rollerblade down to the water and take part in this event. It was Ramona’s first time to do this. We had a blast and would love to do it again next summer. It’s fun just to watch and see the people who come out for this event.
