A team from Spokane has come this week to minister through music to St. Petersburg’s youth. The outreach was filled with lots of opposition and things were difficult. Equipment broke, stuff got lost, people got sick, but even so, many people had the opportunity to hear the Good News.

Tonight we are having a sushi dinner with some friends of ours. We are making sushi together. What a fun process. It is very time consuming, but very easy to do. There are tons of sushi restaurants in St. Petersburg now and it costs a fortune to eat at them. We made nearly 100 pieces for a fraction of the price. Mmm!

Kolya, one of Timothy’s best friends is celebrating his birthday today. We are all meeting at BlinDonalds for the occasion. This truly Russian restaurant is a take off from McDonalds. They serve lots of Russian dishes including blini (crepes) filled with all kinds of goodies. Everything at the restaurant is deep fat friend and full of flavor!

It’s a great place to meet since they have free rides for the kids. It provides hours of entertainment for kids.
